IT之家 8 月 12 日消息，小米平板 8 系列新品已入网，博主 @数码闲聊站 今日发文透露，系列平板全系配备 11.16 英寸 LCD 高刷大屏，标配是 45W 快充、高配 67W 快充，拥有万级大电池（此处预计指电池容量≥10000mAh），相较于前代是“性能大越级”。
据IT之家此前报道，小米平板 8 系列将随同小米 16 系列手机一同登场，标准版代号为 yupei，Pro 版代号为 piano，其中 Pro 版预计将搭载高通骁龙 8 至尊版处理器。

博主还在评论区透露了更多信息：针对小米 16 系列手机的进度，他回复“16 已经备案了，只是未公示”；针对 OLED 新平板什么时候上，他表示“OLED 太贵了，下代米板 8 Ultra 吧”；针对大越级是否为 8E2，他使用了表情符号“😡”。
