Waratah Minerals是一家上市的铜金勘探公司，得到了Regal Funds Management和Northern Star CEO Stu Tonkin的支持。

目前对黄金勘探公司来说，融资时机恰到好处。

基金经理们被提供了以每股57.5澳分的价格购买Waratah的新股，相较于最近的收盘价，这一价格折扣为8.7%。此次配售分为两期，Bell Potter为唯一的主承销商，并要求在周四下午4点前提交报价。

消息人士透露，配售主要由Waratah现有投资者承接，其中Regal和Tonkin的Gladstone Mining分别持有5.5%和9.1%的股份。

Waratah目前在澳洲证券交易所（ASX）的市值为1.47亿澳元，正在开发位于新南威尔士州Lachlan Fold Belt的Spur项目，该项目距离Newmont的Cadia Valley铜金矿仅5公里。由于黄金价格的上涨，该公司股价在过去12个月中已经翻倍。

此次融资的收入将用于进一步勘探Spur金带的钻探、冶金测试以及一般运营资金。
