** Shares of Archer AviationACHR slip 0.4% after the bell ahead of quarterly results, with investors watching for developments in the company's air taxi
** ACHR in July said it completed an initial test flight of its Midnight aircraft at Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi
** In June, the company said it raised $850 mln in funding following executive orders signed by U.S. President Donald Trump to boost electric air taxis
** Analysts expect quarterly adj. loss of 25 cents per share, vs a loss of 32 cents per share a year ago, according to data compiled by LSEG
** ACHR stock down about 1% YTD, and up 165% over past 12 months
