AI would plan lessons, mark tests under PC schools overhaul

Teachers should use AI to create lesson plans, mark homework and provide real-time feedback to students, according to a Productivity Commission report that calls on the federal government to lead a push to turbocharge the uptake of technology in schools.

In the PC’s fourth report in the lead-up to next week’s economic reform roundtable, the agency said AI could reduce the administrative burden preventing teachers from spending more time with their students.
