Bumitama Agri Ltd. has reported a significant year-on-year improvement for the first half of 2025. The company's revenue increased by 28.2%, reaching IDR 9,742.713 billion compared to IDR 7,600.129 billion in the first half of 2024. The rise in revenue was supported by higher average selling prices of palm products. The cost of sales also rose to IDR 7,169.985 billion, up 23.6% from IDR 5,800.764 billion in the same period last year. Despite this increase, the company's gross profit saw a substantial growth of 43.0%, amounting to IDR 2,572.728 billion from IDR 1,799.365 billion in 1H2024. The profit before taxation surged by 62.6%, reaching IDR 2,080.602 billion, up from IDR 1,279.603 billion in the previous year's first half. After accounting for taxation, which more than doubled to IDR 568.692 billion, the profit for the period reached IDR 1,511.910 billion, marking a 50.9% increase compared to IDR 1,001.922 billion in 1H2024. In terms of cash flow, Bumitama Agri Ltd. generated IDR 2,564.797 billion from operations, with net cash flows from operating activities recorded at IDR 2,071.528 billion after tax payments. The company did not provide a specific outlook or guidance for the upcoming reporting period or the next 12 months, but it noted the improvement in the first half of 2025 was driven by higher average selling prices of palm products.
