MCC's Seven-Month New Contract Value Slips 19%

Metallurgical Corp. of China (SHA:601618, HKG:1618), or MCC, said that the value of its newly signed contracts from January to July reached over 611.3 billion yuan, down 19% from a year prior, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

Of the total, newly signed overseas contracts rose 38% in value to 61.3 billion yuan in the period.

In July alone, the firm signed three contracts with a value of over 1 billion yuan each.
