8月16日，蔚来全新ES8车队从西藏日喀则一路换电到珠峰。在直播过程中，李斌谈及全新ES8，称其是中国高端纯电车型中首个完成三代迭代的车型，全新ES8甚至可以满足部分MPV用户的需求。随着纯电技术的发展，纯电车型已经可以在储物空间的效率、内部乘坐空间的体验，整车工程效率等多个方面展现纯电架构的优势。再加上“到珠峰都能全程换电”的补能网络，纯电大三排SUV的黄金时代已经到来。
