HOV Services' (NSE:HOVS, BOM:532761) consolidated profit rose to 17.3 million Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30, against 7.76 million rupees a year ago, according to a filing with the Indian bourses on Thursday.
Earnings per share came in at 1.37 rupees compared with 0.62 rupees, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian bourse by the business process outsourcing company.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1 also jumped to 136.1 million rupees from 55.7 million rupees a year ago.
The company's shares were up 5% in recent trade.
