Fat Prophets Global Contrarian Fund (ASX:FPC) unveiled a share purchase plan (SPP) allowing eligible shareholders to acquire up to AU$30,000 worth of shares at a discounted price, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Shareholders registered by Wednesday with an address in Australia or New Zealand are eligible to participate in the SPP but will not receive dividends on shares issued under the plan, the filing said.
The SPP allows eligible shareholders to increase their holdings without paying brokerage, commissions, or other transaction fees, with the offer closing on Sept. 10, per the filing.
Funds raised will support the company's investment goals and boost share liquidity, market presence, and prospects for broker and research coverage, the filing added.
The company's shares slipped nearly 1% in recent Thursday trade.
