Hiap Hoe's Attributable Profit Jumps 452% in H1; Shares Up Nearly 4%

Hiap Hoe's (SGX:5JK) attributable profit to owners surged by 452% during the second half of the year to SG$5.4 million from SG$975,000, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the company were up nearly 4% in Friday trading.

Earnings per share rose to SG$0.0114 compared with SG$0.0021 in the comparable period.

Revenue was up 5.6% year over year to SG$62.0 million from SG$58.7 million.

The company declared an interim dividend of SG$0.0025 per share for the period, unchanged from a year earlier. The dividend will be paid on Aug. 29.
