Foresight News 消息，越南当局破获了该国迄今为止最大的加密货币诈骗案，逮捕了围绕数字代币 Paynet Coin (PAYN) 构建的数十亿美元庞氏骗局的主谋和同伙。警方已扣押并冻结了价值 3800 万美元的资产，包括现金、外币和房地产，目前已有 20 人因该案被捕。该团伙利用 FMCPAY.com 和 AFF2024.com 等网站，向投资者承诺每月 5% 至 9% 的收益，并承诺招募新成员后还能获得额外佣金。当局称，新参与者的资金被用来支付早期投资者的资金，这是一种典型的庞氏骗局。
