理想汽车创始人李想在微博发文表示，9月目标之一是理想i8交付超越8000辆，挑战1万辆。李想指出，理想i8目前的订单量，说明目标用户认可理想i8的产品定义─越野车的全能、豪华轿车的操控、MPV的舒适。而之前被大家讨论最多的造型，是很多用户喜欢和选择的核心原因之一。随着路上的理想i8愈来愈多，相信喜欢这个造型的人会愈来愈多。
