Norfolk Metals Starts Reverse Circulation Drilling at Chile Project; Shares Up 7%

Norfolk Metals (ASX:NFL) started the reverse circulation drilling phase of its maiden drill campaign at the Carmen project in Chile, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The program will confirm historical drilling intercepts within proven copper mineralization at the Carmen Main target and test targets along strike, the filing said.

The diamond drilling phase of the campaign is expected to begin in October, according to the filing.

Shares rose nearly 7% in midday trade Wednesday.
