Smart Globe Holdings (HKG:1481) expects a net profit between HK$10 million and HK$12 million for the six months ended June 30, compared to a HK$5.7 million loss in the same period last year, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the printing service firm surged nearly 16% in late-morning Wednesday trade.
The turnaround was driven by the successful expansion into the Sub-Saharan Africa market, which boosted its supply chain management and logistics services revenue.
