Langham Hospitality Investments Swings to H1 Loss; Shares Plunge 10%

Langham Hospitality Investments (HKG:1270) booked HK$142.3 million in attributable loss for the half ended June 30, compared with HK$43 million in profit in the year-ago period, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Tuesday.

Shares of the hotel operator fell 10% in morning trade Wednesday.

Loss per share was HK$0.04, compared with earnings of HK$0.01 per share in the prior year.

Revenue for the period fell 3% year over year to HK$184.8 million.
