苹果Apple Watch电池集体诉讼案后续：美版Series 1/2/3用户已收到赔偿金
IT之家 8月13日消息，据外媒MacRumors 12日报道，本周，美国部分参与苹果Apple Watch电池膨胀集体诉讼和解的用户已陆续收到赔偿金。
该案于2021年立案，苹果今年1月同意支付2000万美元（IT之家注：现汇率约合1.44亿元人民币），以避免继续产生法律费用。Apple Watch Series 1、Series 2和Series 3用户需在4月10日前提交索赔，但此前已向苹果报告过电池膨胀问题的用户则自动符合赔偿条件。
赔偿通过预付Mastercard卡发放。如果收到标题为“Smith等诉苹果公司和解案”的邮件，并附有预付卡，那就是赔偿款。根据和解协议，用户至少可获20美元（现汇率约合143.8元人民币），金额会随索赔人数变化。一名Reddit用户称，自己收到了略高于25美元的赔偿金。
诉状称，早期Apple Watch型号的电池与显示屏存在设计缺陷，电池膨胀可能挤压表面导致屏幕脱落，造成设备故障，甚至因破裂屏幕的锋利边缘割伤使用者。
苹果被指控明知产品存在缺陷仍照常销售，原告要求获得一般性、特殊性、附带性、法定性等多项损害赔偿，以及更换设备的费用。报道提到，苹果虽已和解，但否认有任何不当行为，也否认Apple Watch存在缺陷。
