Lifenet Insurance Co. Logs 15% Rise in Fiscal Q1 Profits

Lifenet Insurance Co. (TYO:7157) logged a 15% rise in profit attributable to owners of the parent to 2.18 billion yen for the fiscal first quarter from 1.89 billion yen a year earlier.

The insurer's basic earnings per share (EPS) increased to 27.11 yen from 23.51 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.

Insurance revenue grew 21.3% to 8.22 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 compared to 6.78 billion yen in the year-ago period.

For the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, Lifenet Insurance forecasts an attributable profit of 6.9 billion yen and insurance revenue of 33.0 billion yen.

The company has not disclosed any dividend expectations for the current fiscal year.
