Catalyst Metals (ASX:CYL) confirmed the potential of the Trident gold deposit in Western Australia, following the release of results from drilling targeting extensions of mineralization outside of the resource envelope, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The results, which indicate further increases to the resource, include 22 meters at 5.2 grams per tonne grade of gold, 9.3 meters at 3.1 g/t gold, and 11 meters at 7.1 g/t gold, the filing said.
The results will target the conversion of the new areas into an inferred mineral resource with further drilling, according to the filing.
Shares rose nearly 5% in morning trade on Thursday.
