Prairie Operating Co. has announced revised compensation agreements for its top executives, effective August 13, 2025. The changes include an increase in annual base salaries for CEO Ed Kovalik and President Gary C. Hanna. Kovalik's salary will rise to $750,000 from $550,000, while Hanna's will increase to $675,000 from $550,000, both retroactive to January 1, 2025. Additionally, their target annual incentive bonus opportunities have been adjusted to 125% of their respective base salaries, down from a previous 250%. These adjustments aim to align their compensation more closely with market practices, based on recommendations from the company's independent compensation consultant.
