Chemours (CC) said Wednesday its Opteon two-phase immersion cooling fluid has been approved by Samsung Electronics for use with its current generation solid-state drives.
The company said the technology offers higher IT load capacity, reduced equipment failures, and significantly lower energy and water use compared with traditional cooling methods.
Shares of Chemours were up over 1% in recent premarket activity Wednesday.
