** Shares of solar companies decline between 2% and 6%

** Trump administration is expected to make it harder for companies to claim federal tax subsidies for renewable energy

** SunRun RUN.O down ~2%, SolarEdge Technologies SEDG.O falls 4.2% and Enphase Energy ENPH.O declines 6.4%

** First Solar FSLR.O and ARRAY Technologies ARRY.O down 2.6% and 2.8%, respectively

** The Treasury Department next week will reach a 45-day deadline to revise rules governing who can qualify for clean energy tax credits that the Republicans' One Big Beautiful Bill Act is phasing out years earlier than planned
