Wing Stop Sees a Breakthrough with Smart Kitchen System -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
Aug 15

0941 ET - Wing Stop's "Smart Kitchen" technology is a game changer for the business, says Raymond James analyst Brian Vaccaro, who upgrades the stock to strong buy from outperform. The system, which replaced the company's paper ticket system and uses AI-driven demand forecasting to allow kitchens to prepare for surges, is showing very encouraging results. At locations with the technology, ticket times have fallen by about half, customer satisfaction is higher and delivery times have dropped below 30 minutes. Those improvements plus a new loyalty program in 2026 and a committed franchise development pipeline at all-time highs should drive high teens-to-low 20s annual EBITDA growth over the next few years, Vaccaro says.
