采煤分部除税前溢利为8.64亿元，同比下降41.5%。净利润为5.58亿元，净利润率为22.2%，较去年同期的42.9%下降20.7个百分点。每股基本盈利为6.68分，较去年同期的13分大幅减少。公司董事会宣布中期股息为每股5港分，较去年同期的4港分有所增加。
在业务分部方面，采煤分部的业绩受到煤价下跌的影响显著，其他分部如房地产业务和物业管理服务业务则表现出色，收益大幅增长，显示出公司在多元化发展上的努力。
