消息面上，柏能集团发布中期业绩，公司上半年收入为63.55亿港元，同比增长28.5%；公司拥有人应占溢利为2.504亿港元，同比增长29.0%；每股基本盈利为0.645港元。公司拟派发每股0.25港元的中期股息。收入的增长主要得益于图像显示卡（特别是自有品牌业务）的销售增加。
值得注意的是，柏能集团本月初公布，根据公司向新加坡交易所提出将其于新加坡交易所的第二上市地位改为主要上市地位的申请，新加坡交易所已于8月8日原则上批准建议转换，但须符合本公布所载的若干条件。建议转换将自8月20日起生效，届时公司将于港交所及新加坡交易所拥有双重主要上市地位。
