新浪科技讯 8月20日上午消息，美团官方发布信息称，美团旗下国际外卖品牌Keeta正式在卡塔尔首都多哈上线，这是继沙特阿拉伯之后，美团在中东市场的又一重要突破。据介绍，卡塔尔作为全球人均 GDP 最高的经济体之一，外卖市场潜力巨大，Keeta将努力为卡塔尔用户提供更好的外卖服务体验，助力当地餐饮商户、骑手等合作伙伴健康发展，并为当地的数字经济增长作出贡献。
2023年5月，美团在香港特别行政区首次推出Keeta。2024年9月，Keeta首次进入中东的沙特阿拉伯市场，开启国际化新征程。美团表示，进入沙特不到一年时间，Keeta已跃升为沙特市占前三的外卖平台，覆盖沙特20个城市。未来，Keeta还将继续深耕中东市场，逐步拓展至海湾阿拉伯国家合作委员会（Gulf Cooperation Council，GCC）的更多国家和地区，并计划在数月后正式进入巴西，为南美用户创造更好的即时零售购物体验。（罗宁）
