Impact Minerals Says Alluminous Progresses Work on Western Australia Pilot Plant Facility; Shares Down 11%

Impact Minerals (ASX:IPT) said its 50%-owned Alluminous is progressing works for the commissioning of its pilot plant facility in Perth, Western Australia, as well as for an analytical laboratory, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It installed systems for safety, governance, as well as finance and administration.
Each component of the proprietary HiPurA high-purity alumina process is being tested separately with batch processing of feedstock through the various parts of the process, per the filing.
The firm hired an analytical chemist to finalize the laboratory's commissioning.
Impact Minerals' shares tumbled 11% in recent Wednesday trade.
