1520 ET - Skydance's Paramount has signed an exclusive, multiyear deal with the Duffer Brothers, the duo best known for creating Netflix's smash hit series "Stranger Things." The four-year deal is for feature films, television and streaming projects, with an emphasis on Matt and Ross Duffer producing large-scale theatrical films, according to a release from Paramount. The arrangement came together after the Duffers worked at Netflix with Cindy Holland and Matt Thunell, who are now Paramount's chair of streaming and president Paramount Television, respectively. Paramount says the Duffers will remain involved with "Stranger Things" after their overall deal with Netflix ends in April. (dean.seal@wsj.com)
