DiDi Global's Brazilian subsidiary, 99, filed copyright infringement and unfair competition cases against Keeta, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing court documents seen by the news agency.

The DiDi Global unit alleged Keeta uses a color scheme, graphics, and font similar to 99 to "catapult its commercial operations" in Brazil, the report said.

Keeta, the overseas brand of Hong Kong-listed Meituan (HKG:3690), first sued DiDi's Brazil unit in Sao Paulo on allegations that the 99Food delivery app restricted restaurants from working with two delivery platforms, the report said.

Keeta said its colors and logo have been associated with Meituan for the past 14 years, the report said, citing a statement sent to the Meituan unit.
