凤凰网科技讯 北京时间8月19日，据《金融时报》报道，就在软银宣布投资20亿美元入股英特尔的之前数周时间里，软银CEO孙正义(Masayoshi Son)曾与英特尔CEO陈立武( Lip-Bu Tan)举行会谈，商讨收购陷入困境的英特尔芯片代工业务。
多位知情人士称，自陈立武今年3月被任命为英特尔CEO以来，孙正义就与其会面，讨论潜在交易。眼下，英特尔正为其苦苦挣扎的先进芯片制造业务寻找出路，该业务难于与台积电竞争。
这些会谈涉及范围广泛，可能导致多种结果，包括与第三方成立合资企业，或者像周一宣布的那样进行少数股权投资。然而，其中两位知情人士表示，周一的投资公告并未排除未来就英特尔代工业务达成更大规模交易的可能性。
