1322 ET - Quarterly visits to Lowe's fell 3.8% in 2Q, reflecting persistent pressure on consumer spending, according to a report from Placer.ai. "Like Home Depot, Lowe's was likely impacted by the economic uncertainties and a slower housing market," the report says. "But unlike Home Depot, Lowe's still relies on DIY-ers for the majority of its business." Lowe's is scheduled to report quarterly earnings ahead of Wednesday's opening bell, with analysts forecasting a slight uptick in sales and roughly flat profit, according to FactSet.
