ChainCatcher 消息，据 Crowd fundinsider 报道，泰国将于周一启动" TouristDigiPay "计划，允许外国游客在监管沙盒框架内将加密货币兑换为泰铢进行电子支付，单账户月消费限额最高 50 万泰铢（约 1.4 万美元），旨在提振旅游业复苏。
根据该计划，外国游客必须分别在受美国证券交易委员会和泰国银行监管的数字资产企业和电子货币提供商处开设账户。该计划在监管沙盒内运作，以确保监督并防止直接使用数字资产作为支付方式。仅限在泰国临时居留的外国游客使用该服务。参与者必须根据泰国反洗钱办公室的标准完成 KYC 审核。该服务允许游客将数字资产兑换成泰铢，并通过二维码扫描进行电子支付。
此前报道，泰国 SEC 与央行拟推“加密沙盒”，支持外国游客将加密资产兑换为泰铢用于消费。
