路透引述消息人士透露，英国芯片设计公司ARM已聘请美国科技巨头亚马逊(Amazon)人工智能(AI)芯片总监Rami Sinno，以推进其自主开发完整芯片的计划。Sinno曾协助亚马逊开发AI芯片Trainium和Inferentia，这些芯片用于帮助构建和运行大型AI应用。 消息又称，ARM也已聘请具有大型系统设计经验的美国资讯科技公司惠普企业(HPE)高管Nicolas Dube，以及来自英特尔(Intel)和高通(Qualcomm)的芯片工程师Steve Halter。 近年，ARM一直努力建设专注于构建完整芯片和系统的团队。该公司上月披露将部分利润投资于制造自己的芯片和其他组件的计划。
