Performance Shipping Inc., a global shipping company, has announced a new time charter contract with Pakistan National Shipping Corporation for its M/T P. Aliki, an LR2 Aframax tanker. The contract is set for a period of 12 months, with an option for a 15-day extension, at a daily gross charter rate of $30,000. The agreement is expected to significantly boost the company's earnings above the vessel's breakeven level and enhance revenue visibility. The P. Aliki, currently undergoing its third special survey and drydock, will be delivered to the charterer around mid-September 2025. This contract increases the company's secured revenue backlog by approximately $10.5 million, raising the total to $250.5 million.
