消息面上，德翔海运将于8月25日(下周一)举行董事会会议以审批中期业绩。公司此前发布盈喜，预计上半年纯利1.8亿至2亿美元，同比大幅增长220%-255%。主要由于整体平均运费上涨，与市场趋势一致；及以较高租金租出的船舶数量增加，期内租船租金收入增加。
申万宏源此前指出，双子星联盟的诞生将航线从钟摆式航线向轴辐射式航线转变，用小船运输需求增加替换大船干线运输效率，一条周班欧线干线理论上将增加40艘2千TEU的小型集装箱船。美国301调查豁免非中国船东的4千TEU以下船舶，一定程度上凸显了小船的灵活性可能受益于各项事件的扰动。
