BUZZ-Australia's HMC Capital slips to 5-year low on weak FY outlook, earnings miss

** HMC Capital HMC.AX slips 10.4% to A$3.135, lowest since early October 2020

** Stock second-biggest loser on ASX 200 .AXJO, which is down 0.7%

** Asset manager posts FY25 pre-tax operating profit of A$224.6 mln ($145.7 mln), 18% below Visible Aplha consensus

** Targets FY26 pre-tax operating earnings of at least A$0.40/shr, down from A$0.56/shr in FY25

** More than 7.3 mln shares traded, 4.6x the 30-day avg

** YTD, HMC falls 68.2%
