智通财经APP讯，德翔海运(02510)发布公告，于2025年8月19日，本公司与卖方订立经修订造船合约(每份合约的条款大致相同)，以建造两艘新造船舶，总代价为1.26亿美元(相等于约 9.79亿港元)，每艘代价为6278万美元(相等于约4.899亿港元)。
董事认为建造经修订规格的船舶符合本集团的长期发展战略并将为本集团及其股东整体带来重大利益。
建造两艘经修订规格的货柜船将增加本集团的自有船队规模及总运力，使本集团能够更好地把握市场机遇及应对货柜航运业(特别是亚太地区及其他主要市场)不断增长的需求。新增船舶将进一步加强本集团向其客户提供可靠及频密服务的能力，并提升其市场地位。
此外，本集团的策略包括维持自有及租用船舶的均衡组合，专注于提升自有船舶的比例，以实现长期成本优势。自有船舶不受租船费率波动或明定租期所规限，通常可降低单位运营成本。具备现代化设计及规格的新船舶预期将更加节能环保，从而降低运营成本并有助于遵守日益严格的环境法规。
