One of Canva’s biggest investors has added billions of dollars to the value of the design software giant after the successful float of one of its big rivals.
Blackbird told investors on Monday afternoon that it was revaluing its holdings in Canva up by 14.5 per cent on the valuation at June 30. The venture capital firm – which has already booked huge returns after selling part of its stake in Canva – said in an email that Figma’s recent listing on the Nasdaq “warranted further consideration of Canva’s valuation”.
