Playmates Toys Swings to H1 Loss on Lower Revenue

Playmates Toys (HKG:0869) reported a loss attributable to owners of HK$25.6 million for the six months ended June 30, compared with a profit of HK$91.5 million a year earlier, according to an Aug.15 Hong Kong bourse filing.

Loss per share was HK$0.0217, compared with earnings of HK$0.0775 per share last year.

Revenue fell 58% to HK$185.5 million from HK$445.1 million a year earlier.

The board declared an interim dividend of HK$0.01 per share, down from HK$0.02 in 2024.
