金吾财讯 | 加拿大油砂生产商MEG Energy周五宣布，已同意被规模更大的同业公司Cenovus Energy以现金加股票方式收购，交易总价值达69.3亿加元。此举将合并形成加拿大最大的油砂企业之一。根据协议，MEG Energy股东可选择每股换取27.25加元现金，或1.325股Cenovus Energy普通股。
此前在今年5月，加拿大石油天然气生产商Strathcona提出以59.3亿加元对MEG发起恶意收购。至6月，MEG Energy董事会建议股东拒绝该要约，认为其作价不足且不符合股东最大利益。公司随后启动战略评估程序，寻求更优收购方案。
