IT之家 8 月 21 日消息，科技媒体 The Verge 今天（8 月 21 日）发布博文，在今天凌晨召开的发布会上，谷歌宣布推出全新语音助手“Gemini for Home”，将于今年 10 月通过早期体验计划登陆 Google Nest 智能音箱和显示屏，逐步取代现有 Google Assistant。
IT之家援引博文介绍，“Gemini for Home”助手分为免费和付费两个版本，具体付费价格尚未公布，但有望与 Nest Aware 或 Google One 等服务套餐结合推出。
与以往“小修小补”式更新不同，Gemini for Home 采用谷歌最新的 Gemini 人工智能模型，具备更强的推理、搜索与语境理解能力。新助手都能准确理解并执行复杂指令，例如“关闭除卧室外所有灯光”、“播放今年赛车主题大片的歌曲”，此外能更轻松地创建清单、日历和提醒事项。
Gemini for Home 的一大亮点是集成了 Gemini Live 功能，带来更自然、连贯的语音对话体验。用户在厨房烹饪、日常生活、头脑风暴甚至创作睡前故事时，无需频繁重复唤醒词，即可与助手进行多轮交流，让智能助手能提供更贴心、个性化的帮助。
