堪萨斯城联邦储备银行行长Jeff Schmid表示，相较于劳动力市场，他认为通胀风险略高，货币政策整体处于良好状态。

　　“当你越来越接近双重使命的最优值时，判断政策利率应该如何边际调整反而变得更困难，”Schmid在周四表示。

　　全球各国央行官员和经济学家正赶赴杰克逊霍尔参加年度堪萨斯城联储举办的年度研讨会，本次会议的主题是劳动力市场的结构性变化。美联储主席鲍威尔将于周五发表讲话。

　　Schmid表示，围绕何时降息的辩论取决于个别政策制定者是否认为当前政策过于限制。“我认为政策略显紧缩，”他说，“我认为我们正走在一条良好的路径上。”

　　关注美联储的人士将密切关注鲍威尔在会议上的演讲，以判断他是否会就美联储在9月下次会议上的行动发出任何暗示。不过，他要给出明确信号可能较难，尤其是考虑到部分同僚并不急于降息。

　　在另一场采访中，Schmid提到7月份生产者价格指数（PPI）显示批发通胀创下三年来最高水平，“一定程度上令人警觉”。他表示，在9月会议召开前，政策制定者将关注本月晚些时候以及9月公布的消费者价格数据。
