Aug 21 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1920 GMT on Thursday:

** Private investment firm Gryphon Investors said it had agreed to sell Shermco, its portfolio company, to Blackstone BX.N in a deal valued at about $1.6 billion. nL4N3UD104

** Gilead Sciences' GILD.O unit Kite Pharma said it will acquire privately-held biotech firm Interius BioTherapeutics for $350 million in cash to advance CAR T-cell cancer therapies that are delivered directly into patients. nL4N3UD0YS

** International Paper IP.N said it will sell its global cellulose fibers business to private equity firm American Industrial Partners for $1.5 billion. nL4N3UD0V8

** Indian tech firm Wipro <WIPR.NS> said it would buy the digital transformation solutions unit of U.S.-based audio products maker Harman for $375 million, aiming to bolster its AI-led engineering services across sectors. nL4N3UD0ON

** HR software provider Dayforce <DAY.N> said buyout firm Thoma Bravo will take it private in a $12.3 billion deal, including debt. nL4N3UD0NN

** Puerto Rico-based financial technology firm Evertec <EVTC.N> will acquire a 75% stake in Brazilian firm Tecnobank in a deal valued at 787 million reais ($143.82 million), it said in a statement. nL1N3UC0QS

** Mediobanca <MDBI.MI> shareholders rejected a plan to buy Banca Generali <BGN.MI>, dealing a blow to the Italian merchant bank's attempts to thwart a hostile takeover by Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS). nL8N3UD0BK

** McCormick said it will raise its stake in its Mexico joint venture to 75% by acquiring 25% more for $750 million as the condiments maker seeks to expand further in Latin America. nL4N3UD0N4

** KKR <KKR.N> is the leading candidate to buy the Yokohama headquarters of automaker Nissan Motor <7201.T> and has offered around 90 billion yen ($609.80 million), a source familiar with the matter said. nL4N3UD0H3

** Taiwan's Yageo <2327.TW> raised its tender offer price for Japan's Shibaura Electronics <6957.T> by 7% to 6,635 yen a share to outbid a rival offer as it awaits national security clearance from the Japanese government. nL1N3UD067
