European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Decline Thursday

European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were falling on Thursday morning, down 0.2% to 1,525.94 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by insurer Aegon (AEG) and biopharmaceutical firm DBV Technologies (DBVT), which rose 7.2% and 4.1%, respectively.

They were followed by biotech firm Evaxion (EVAX) and pharmaceutical giant Novo Nordisk (NVO), which added 2.7% and 2.1%.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by biopharmaceutical company Cellectis (CLLS) and steel maker ArcelorMittal (MT), which fell 3.2% and 2.7%, respectively.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by pharmaceutical companies Adaptimmune Therapeutics (ADAP) and Centessa Pharmaceuticals (CNTA), which rose 5.4% and 1.8%, respectively.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by cryptocurrency miner Argo Blockchain (ARBK), which was down 2.5%.
