8月20日，港交所发布公告宣布，由2025年8月25日上午9时起，中国恒大的上市地位将根据《上市规则》第6.01A(1)条予以取消。

据了解，中国恒大于2009年11月5日在香港上市，并以超700亿港元的市值一举成为当时在港上市的最大内地民营房企。

据媒体报道，在2017年恒大历史巅峰时期，其股价最高达28港元，市值突破4000亿港元，成为全球市值最高的房地产开发商。

在停牌18个月后，中国恒大以21.52亿港元市值惨淡收场，较历史高点蒸发超99%。

今年8月中旬，中国恒大放弃挣扎，在港交所发布公告表示，公司无意就上市委员会作出取消上市地位的决定申请复核，16年风雨迎来退市终章。
