Magnetite Mines Ltd (ASX股票代码:MGT) 宣布南澳州100%拥有的Ironback Hill铁矿石项目内发现近地表、粘土型稀土元素（REE）矿化。

MGT对先前铁矿石钻探作业存档的样品进行检测时发现上述矿化，截取样品的总稀土氧化物（TREO）品位范围为356pp至1153ppm。

周二MGT股价应声暴涨69.01%。

Magnetite Mines董事总经理Tim Dobson表示，Ironback Hill存在稀土矿化迹象令人倍感振奋，公司将开展低成本的跟进勘探以确认下一步工作计划。

MGT最新价0.12澳元，已发行股本1.23亿股，市值1471万澳元。

截止上季度末公司账面现金结余149万澳元。
