1345 ET - Intuit's disappointing 1Q guidance is likely garnering extra scrutiny from investors given concerns heading into the report, including those around the rise of artificial-intelligence search, UBS analysts say in a note. The company, for its part, does not seem to be seeing any material negative impact yet, with traffic up significantly, and believes it will show up more and have higher conversion rates with AI search queries, the analysts note. The key debate remains whether Intuit's outlook is merely conservative, or actually closer to reality, they say. "At a time when prints need to be exceptional for any follow through, we're not surprised by the reaction," they say. Shares fall 4.4%, to $666.83. (kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
