智通财经APP获悉，强生公司(JNJ.US)周四宣布，将在北卡罗来纳州投资20亿美元扩建美国本土制造产能，以应对特朗普政府可能实施的药品进口关税政策。此前，礼来(LLY.US)、阿斯利康(AZN.US)等主要药企已承诺投入数十亿美元扩大美国业务，响应特朗普的关税威胁。本月早些时候，特朗普表示计划对制药行业分阶段征收关税，税率可能从小幅上调至最高250%。
根据强生披露，该公司已与日本合同制药开发商富士生物技术达成为期10年的合作协议，将在北卡罗来纳州霍利斯普林斯建设占地超16万平方英尺的生产基地，预计创造约120个新岗位。
值得关注的是，富士生物技术今年4月刚与再生元制药(REGN.US)签署价值超30亿美元的10年合作协议，为其在北卡罗来纳州的工厂提供药品生产与供应服务。
强生同时表示，未来几个月将陆续公布更多美国本土生产设施新增及现有工厂扩建计划。
此前，该公司已在3月宣布未来四年将美国投资额提升25%至超550亿美元，其中包括在北卡罗来纳州威尔逊市建设独立工厂的规划。此次20亿美元投资被视为其深化本土制造布局的关键一步。
