Continental's automotive business Aumovio appointed Jutta Doenges as chief financial officer as the company prepares to list the unit next month.

The German automotive supplier said Thursday that Doenges would take over the position no later than March 1 from Aumovio Chief Executive Philipp von Hirschheydt, who was holding the role on an interim basis.

Aumovio, which said it plans to list on Sept. 18, will be an independent company spun off from Continental.

Doenges, currently finance chief at German energy company Uniper, will step down from that role when her contract expires in February, or earlier if Uniper finds a successor before then. Before joining Uniper, she was the managing director of German financial services firm Finanzagentur.

Doenges will complete the executive board appointments for Aumovio before it lists, Continental said.
