Micro-Mechanics' Profit Surges 53% in Fiscal Q4; Shares Down Nearly 3%

Micro-Mechanics' (SGX:5DD) profit during the fiscal fourth quarter ended June 30 jumped 53% to SG$3.2 million from SG$2.1 million a year earlier, according to an after-market filing with the Singapore Exchange on Wednesday.

Shares of the company were down nearly 3% in Thursday trading.

Earnings per share rose to SG$0.0229 compared with SG$0.015 in the comparable period.

Revenue jumped 12% year over year to SG$16.7 million from SG$14.9 million.

The company recommended a final dividend of SG$0.03 per share for the year ended June 30, unchanged from a year earlier.

The dividend will be paid on Nov. 18.
