Top Bright (TPE:8499) unit Long Young Electronic (Kunshan) disposed of a structured deposit with China Minsheng Bank (SHA:600016, HKG:1988) worth 46 million yuan.
The disposal generated a gain of about NT$76,000, according to a Thursday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The investment represented 17% of the company's total assets and 25.4% of equity attributable to owners of the parent, the educational toys company said.
